Description:

Massage of the feet by means of acupressure, concentrating on the soles. It is combined with massage from the toes up to the knees and thighs. All with the help of essential oils extracted from peppermint, eucalyptus and aloe and balm from menthol, camphor, beeswax, clove and cinnamon. Ideal for removing the feeling of heaviness and fatigue in the legs. Helps to detoxicate the immune system. Improves sleep. It is popular at present also because of its various medicinal effects and its help in the reduction of developing civilisation diseases connected with circulation disorders.
Acupressure of the feet, also called reflexology, was known and practised in the ancient times. Evidence confirming that reflexology was practiced 5000 years ago has been found in China. Also healers in ancient India and Egypt applied pressure to the feet for health purposes, as evidence suggests.
This method may actually help detect an illness in the body. A sore, sensitive spot on the foot informs us about a disruption in the flow of energy in the body part that represents a given region. If any of the organs or systems are failing, we experience pain in the region when massaged. In some cases even a physical irregularity (inflamed area, a thickening) can be seen. The more pain in a spot during the massage, the more burdened and dysfunctional the part of the body the receptor represents may be.
